About

My love for Standard Poodles began as a professional all breed show handler in the 80's when I was exhibiting the breed for Averina Kennels.

The multi Best In Show winning Can Am Ch Averina's Anastacia is the foundation for Crystalton Standard Poodles. She set all time breed records with a total of 53 Best In Shows and one of Canada's top winning dogs of all breeds in 1989. She went on to produce several top winning children which I had the privilege of showing and living with.

Upon retiring from handling I continued on with breeding and exhibiting several top winning Standard Poodles under the prefix of Averina and Crystalton.

Today there are several Crystalton Standard Poodles seen in the show ring, in the obedience ring, in the agility ring and even successful hunt trialing dogs.

I am still active breeding and showing Standard Poodles as well as I am now a CKC licensed judge. I travel a fair amount around the world judging dog shows, so our showing has become a little more limited.

My first and true passion remains the Standard Poodles. Our puppies are home raised and we breed for excellence, health and temperament.

My love for Pomeranians began as a professional all breed handler over several years having the privilege of showing for several Pomeranian kennels.
In 1993 we purchased two females from the Chriscendo lines to start a breeding program.
Today we have several generations of top winning Multiple Best In Show Pomeranians.
We lost our first love Jolly this past spring who was coming 17 years old, she is sadly missed.
Our Can AM CH Crystalton's Peanut was retired this year, stepping aside for his young son CH Valcopy Jamel Sir Crystalton (Buddha) Peanut had a wonderful career accomplishing Number 1 Pomeranian in the country more than once and Number 10 Toy Dog.
His son Buddha made his debut in August and after 6 shows was the number 1 Pomeranian in the country. Buddha will be shown in 2012.
We are still active breeding and showing Pomeranians as well as I am now a CKC licensed judge. I travel a fair amount around the world judging dog shows, so our showing has become a little more limited.

True love and passion for the Pomeranian remains a priority with us.

Our puppies are home raised and we breed for excellence, health and temperament.
